Departure times canal cruise Giethoorn

A cruise through the village of Giethoorn departs every day and every hour from 11:00 in the months of March to October. In the other months we only sail on weekends. The last cruise departs around 16:00. There is no minimum registration for our one-hour canal cruise. So if you decide to take a boat trip through Giethoorn, for example, in case of good weather, you can always book at the last minute at our website.

2-hour cruise through Giethoorn and the Wieden nature reserve

It is possible to request a boat trip through the centre of Giethoorn, on the Bovenwijde lake and through the Wieden nature reserve by e-mail or by the contact form. Unfortunately, you cannot yet book this through the automatic reservation system. The minimum registration for a 2-hour cruise is 20 people. The price is €18 for adults and €10 for children. With this option, other people will probably also come on board up to a maximum of 48 people. If you are with less than 20 people or if you want the boat for your own group anyway, look under the heading ‘private tours’. Are you with more than 20 people? Then it is soon attractive to take the tour boat privately.

Private tours

Do you only want to sail around with your company or family and friends? Which can. You can rent the boat for your own group. No other people will come on board. Except the skipper of course 😉 The starting prices of the 1-hour and 2-hour private tours are as follows:

 

Private morning cruise 1 hour: 1 to 26 people. Departure 10:00 am or 11:00 am € 199. Each additional person € 7.25 p.p.

 

Private morning cruise 2 hours: 1 to 26 people. Departure 10:00 am or 11:00 am € 390. Each additional person € 14.00 p.p.

 

Private afternoon cruise 1 hour: 1 to 26 people. Departures 12:00 noon, 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m.: € 249. Each additional person € 8.25 p.p.

 

Private afternoon cruise 2 hours: 1 to 26 people. Departures 12:00 noon, 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m.: €450. Each additional person €16.00 p.p.

 

The rates of the private tours do not differentiate between children and adults. However, babies (0-3 years old) can sail free of charge.

 

Please note: if you have to sail before 11:00 am, you must report to our location around 10:30 am. Serving coffee/tea and possibly. Going to the toilet takes time. If the boat departs later than 11:00 am, we will charge the higher rate.

 

The private tours cannot be booked through the reservation system. Please contact us by e-mail for this.
